But still, when they get their basketball, legs, and more used to the cage, game rather than the foct'iall f'.isy just finished playing, the Bulldags will really be rough. f ' - 'THIS IS AMKKICA" that game ui-s been changed to Dec. 23 and will be played at Dugger. The margin of the Streak's ( victory over Dugger was surprising. While many thought that the Streaks would give the Bulldogs a good game, no one thought that the Streaks would win by such a sccre as .33 to 19. The Bulldogs must have been mighty cold that night. Merom's undermanned Beavers try twice more for that first victory this week. On Tuesday night they tangle with Dugger in the Dugger gym, and then on Friday night they will get together with Carlisle in the Indian goalhouse. The Beavers might win one of them, but it is doubtful. On Friday night the Sullivan Golden Arrows open their season against Boonville on the Community Gym floor. The Pioneers have already played two games. They opened losing to Petersburg at home and then they stopped Bicknell's Bulldcgs on the Pioneer floor. The Bisknell bunch had beaten Linton earlier in the week. " Not too much is known about the Pioneers this season. Last year they opened the Arrow season on their small court and won 40 to 26. Against Bicknell, they were behind at halftime, 17 to 13, and went into a four-point lead, 26 to 22 as the last period started, and then won 38 to 36. In that game, Barnctt, a forward, hit 5 field goals and made 3 free throws for 13 points, and Aylsworth was n3xt In line with 7 prints. Jt was a rough game, with a total of 49 fculs being called, 20 of them on Boonville. I In addition to the game itself, a few other matters will be taken care of. The Adam Sajko Award will be given between halves of , the main game to the boy seto pick that boy. Then footb3ll awards will be made, so the first home game will be a big affair for boti the basketball team and the football team.
