Another of the dwindling, list rA unbeaten schools in the county will fall by the wayside this week. Pleasantville and Dugger got together Wednesday night on the Dugger floor in probably the best game of the week. The Streaks beat back the challenge of the Carlisle Indians last week and now have 1o try to do the same to Dugger's Bulldogs. Shelburn likewise has a rough game scheduled. The Panthers liit the read to Honey Creek

Wednesday night to battle the a'ways powerful Bees, and it could be that only one team will be unbeaten by the time the end of the week rolls around. New Lebanon's Tigers, after a couple of go.od years, seems to have hit the skids this year. The Tigers have lost four straight games so far. But . when you stop to think that .there are 35 pupils enrolled in New Lebanon High School, it is understandable. After all, a school that small can't hope to come up with good squads every year. Meram is another one that is having trouble. The Beavers have only six pupils in the high school, and from that inumber the material is slim at times. The Beavers have lest twice. They play New Lebanon this week, so the list of teams without a victory will shrink a little. On the other hand, the FairTHANKSGIVING NOTATION OF ROOT'S S-P-M VALUES For sports For dress

record so far this season, and yet the Trojans have to pick from as small a high school as Merom does. They have 36, too, but seem to have a little better material to pick, from , this year. Midland's Middies must have a fair club this year. They have stopped two Sullivan Gaunty schools and dropped a ' one-)Point game to . Shelburn. The Middies will be playing ether county schools before the year is over, and it could be the Middies will be rough fcr some of them to handle. ' . 51 turned out when the ball was issued, and he has divided his squad into two groups. One practices early, and the other starts to practice at 6 p. m. What the Arrows will have remains to be seen. Jim Sevier, Bcb Banks, Ben Wernz, Bob Deckard, and George Wolfe are back from last year, Jerry McCamman is out and he might crash the first team. The coach is also working with a. group of sophomores and he may turn something rp out of that bunch. However, the Arrcws will be short on height this season, and may be short on scoring punch. The Arrows play their usual rugged schedule, and the outlook isn't, too bright for a winning season. But then basketball is a funny game, and they might get hot and make things uncomfortable for the opposition. Fans hereabouts will get their first look at the Arrows when the Boonville Pioneers come to town Dec. 3. I SPECIAL SERVICES !
