With the last game of the season coming up on Armistice Day against the Unton Miners,, let's look at whet the Golden Arrows have done this year. They have won four games and lost five.

They have been outscored 168 points to 127 points. The opposition has made the most first downs, 93 to 88. .

tossed 113 aerials, and have seen 44 of them completed. . On the other hand, 11 have been intercepted. VVernz has been the top pass-catcher. He has snagged 21 of them,, two for .touchdowns. Spoonrnore has gotten 12, with 4 going for touchdowns.. Of the other eleven, HUgedieJk has caught 4, McClure 3, Sevier 3 and Wolfe 1.

The three Arrow passers have

On the tossing end, Hilgediek has thrown 41 and has completed 15 of them. Six were intercepted. Grayam has thrown 36, completed 12, and had four intercetped. Sevier threw 36, completed 17, and had a single interception.

Wernz with 12 each, Rasky with 6 and Grayam with 2 points completes the scoring.

Big Cal, of course leads the Arrows in scoring. Of their 127

! points he has 57. Spoonrnore is

second wi'lh 25 points. After that,

In the offense department, again Hilgediek is way ahead. In the nine games, he has carried the ball 142 times and picked up 972 yards, for an average of almost 7 yards a try. That includes the poorest night he had, when he got only 16 yards in twelve

tries against Wiley, His top performance was 252 yards in 20 tries against Brazil. Rasky has the next highest average, picking up 96 yards in 18 tries for a slightly better than 5 yard average. But most of his, 83 yards to be exact, he got' against Washington. McClure has a 4.4 average with 292 yards in 67 tries and Wolfe has 4.1 average with 196 yards in 48 tries.

teams to beat the Arrows. Blcomington started it in the first game. The Panthers are still unbeaten but ted by Wiley. Garfield has lost only to Bloomington, 7 to 0. Wiley has tied Bloomington and lost only tc Evansville Bosse, 14 to 13.. Bicknell has lost only to Evansville Central. Of the five only Brazil has lost more than one game. All three Terre Haute schools, Lafayette Jefferson, and Evansville Central have whippsd the Imps.

give the Arrows a 5 won 5 lost record for the year. In addition, the outlook for next year is bright Eleven players will be lost by graduation, but the nucleus for a better team next year is there. If the bugaboo of injuries which

I has plagued the locals during the

latter part of the season will stay away next year, and if some reserve strength shows up, the Arrows could be harder to handle next year.

Now take a look at the five

That means that four of the teams to beat the Arrows have lost three games and tied one during the season, and the tie and one defeat are among those teams. Then, Tech, which lost to the Arrows, has been beaten only by Garfield besides the loss to Sullivan. That will give you an idea of the competition the Arrows have played this year.

Taking nothing away from the way Vaino Grayam has played, it is conceivable that Sullivan would have beaten Brazil and maybe Bickneil If J:m Sevi'er had not been hart early in the game with the Red Devils. Grayam has played nice ball, but lacks the experience that Sevier had.
