God's sentence upon sin is death death never takes a holiday, that's why we die. We all have the sentence of doath written on us and in us from our birth, because we are all born in sin. Death stalks abroad in the world, with no power whatsoever in man to arrest its destructive march. Death proves God's Word to be true, that man has fallen beneath its sentence and is hopelessly doomed. Death is the emphasis cf sin. We notice that those who deny the fact of sin, sickness and death, d;e right along with the rest of humanity. No pcwer on earth can stop death but God's power. Man has fallen never to rise alone. He needs help from a source cutside of himself; help frcm on, high. Man is a sinner against God without the power to atone for his sin; without the means cf erasing its guilt and without the strength to avoid its penalty. God's power is the gospel cf Christ, the pcwer of God unto salvation from sin and death' to anyone who believes and trusts in Him. Man had no way cf approach to God, so God had to make the Way t b man.. Man could net' ccrce to God, in God's Holy preside with 'sin en him, so God came to man's sinful state, ind Md a!f his sins-n'd mb'rttMShama .'wrtheJkord-Jesus Christ at Calvary where sin was' put" srway and' judged. Man's need was great with no provision for it, but God made provision for all man's need in the Cross; all that Gcd requires, and till that man needs was provided at Calvary for him. Salvation is all from God, and all for man. Friends, have you been to Calvary? 4. V "Wherefore as by one man sin entered into the world, and death bv sin, so death passed upon all men for that

all have sinned." In Adam a race was begun which end-

led in death; but in Christ a new race was begun which starts with life and knows no death because the Author 'cf Life conquered death by death His death on Calvary.
