The Triple L Home Economics
club met Sept. 2nd at the home
of Mrs. Mable Howard for an all-day meeting. A school lunch

Mr. and Mrs. LaVern Trump and son and Mr. and Mrs. "Chick" Julian and son spent Sunday and Monday in Indianapolis. Mrs. Grace Kelley and Cleo Thomson and son, Jimmy, were in
Sullivan Monday night. Patty Thomson and Susanne Baine attended a theater in Sullivan Monday night.

Lloyd is a member of the
Arrow Yannigans, an old Notre Dame term for Freshman gridmen. Although Lloyd is small with 115 pounds on his 5 ft., 6 inch frame, it is well to l emember him to be a freshman . . . also the story of "big oaks from little acorns grow." Lloyd is working hard to grasp every angle, lacking the valuable experience which he will get this year and the three to come.

Jini is exceptionally willing in the hands of his tutors and is workmg hard to span the gap of inexperience in the vital position of tackle. Jim isn't short, either, standing well toward 6 feet.

FROM BURNS NOBLESVILLE, Ind., Sept. 10. (UP) Edward Wingate, age 26, Anderson, died in a Noblesville hospital last night of burns suffered while 'Working on a transformer near here. Funeral services will be held in Princeton, W. Va.

He's out this year for the first time as a Sophomore and is showing rather well for the first year of contact. He is another , of the weight-lifting boys' in the Jcnes aggregation. He lilt 135 pounds with h's 115 pounds on a 5 foot, 8 inch frame and has an ambition
to lift his weight. He'll find ample applicat:on for his lifting power when he bucks that line.

Jim was in the halfback group previously but the graduation of his brother, George Lasky, caused a vacancy which Coach BUI Jones believes Jim can fill in a very neat manner. He weighs only 135 nounds, standing 5 feet, 7 inches, but he is very aggressive. He's a Senior and one of the good guys of the crew.
Jerry has 140 pounds of weight that loves the game. He has shown well on de
fense thus far and is envisioned to be defin;tely on ' ' his way up. Ke tilts the scales at 140 ocunds, stands 5 feet, 8 inches tall and is another of the Sillv Sophomores. This season looks to be h:s egg to frv with plenty of time to eat his cake the next two.

Bill is out for his first year to tussle with the pigskin, however, he is a fellow cf athletics, having; earned his letter last year as catcher for the Arrow baseball squad. Every ounce of his 135 pounds is willing and working hard to develop into a valuable asset to the Arrow crew should he and his folks, who contemplate a move to Palestine, Illinois, remain in the city.
