Almost 103,000 persons passed through the gates yesterday, top ping last year's all-time record ; for Thursday of 96,823. Fair officials u:so recapped Wednesday attendance figures and announced that a new mark had been made for that day, also. Wednesday's final attendance , score stood at 107,529 topping the previous Vecord for Wednes- j day by 10,962. Judging drew to a close in the horse, cattle and swine divisions today, and a sale of beef calves was scheduled for 1 o'clock this afternoon. Today's program was dedicated tc Indianapolis manufacturers and Indiana Flying Farmers. The Grand Circuit race program was scheduled to draw to a close unless rained rut. as it was on two previous dates. The August estimate of a 981,415,000 bushel winter wheat crop will net change again until December, when a final assessment of all 1948 crops will. , be made.
