H. B. CAMPBELL CLASS PARTY Mrs. Starwood Moore was hostess at her home on South State Street Tuesday evening for a most enjoyable meeting of the H. B. Campbell class. The home was decorated with garden fLowers from the hostess' garden. Mrs. Harry Richmond of South Carolina, former member of the class, was sent. Mrs. Cora Wilkey and Mrs. Vermont McC'skey were also guests. Margaret Alsman gave the devotions. Twenty-two members responded to roll call. Plans were made to hold a rummage sale. A white elephant sale was held with Mrs. McCoskey, auctioneer. During the social hour the hostess, assisted by Mesdames Ida Pirtle and Elsie Pendleton, served refreshments of homemade ice cream, angel food cake, iced tea and mints to Lura Hayhurst, Anna McQuown, Effie Scott, Clara Pittman, Iva Drake. Pearl Wise, Stella Richmond, J.cy Metcalf, Ruth Banks, Cora Wilkey, Lois Pavy, Effie Douthitt, Zada Dixon, Margaret Alsman, Fern Collins, Vermont McCoskey and the hostesses, Ida Pirtle, Elsie Pendleton and Bess Moore.
DR. BRYAN'S WIFE DIES BLOOMINGTON, Ind., Aug. 27 (UP) Funeral services will be held Monday for the wife of Indiana University President Emeritus William Lowe Bryan. She died last night after a long illness at the age of 81.

Jack Anderson, who has spent his vacation at Rock Lake, Michigan, has returned home. Rev. Anderson spent Thursday in Springfield, Illinois, where he attended a Youth Conference. Miss Lucille Heien of Louisville, Kentucky, spent the weekend in Sullivan. Mrs. Kenneth Crowder of Detroit. Michigan, is the guest of relatives in Sullivan. Richard Crowder, who has spent the past few weeks in Sullivan with relatives, will return home with his mother. Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Wiltse of Indianapolis, are guests of the latter's mother, Mrs. Edna Rosenberger and family.
