STOP GAMBLE W AT MUNCIE FAIR MUNCIE, Ind., Aug. 4 (UP) The Deleware County Fair continued today, minus 10 concessions which authorities said were gambling establishments. Deputy sheriffs raided the 10 tents- last night, closing them down. Operators were ordered to return money to patrons and gaming equipment was confiscated .

JOBS UPON A TIME Ida Lupino comes of an old theatrical family which invaded the British isles as traveling puppeteers in the 17th century Ida studied at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Arts in London. She made her debut in British films at the age of 13. When 15 she was brought to Hollywood. In 1940. in They Drive by Night, she showed her histrionic ability Ida won the New York critics' award as best actress of 1943 in The Hard Way. She likes comedy roles bpst and dances, sings, writes short stories and composes music. Comedian Harold Lloyd has been a star in Hollywood since early celluloid days. Lloyd started acting when he was 12 in an Omaha stock company production of Tess of the d'Urbervillcs. Later the family moved to California, and Harold broke inco films as a $3-a-day extra.
