The Country Birthday club will meet at the home of Myrtl McKiiMiey Tuesday, November 18, with Kathiyn Lisman as co-hostess. The Needlecraft club will meet next Thursday instead of next Tuesday. Mrs. Gail Wilson will be hostess at the home of Laura Lemmons. Royal Neighbors of America WviUl meet Friday, November 21, for a covered dish supper at 6:30 p. m.. Carlisle Camp will be our guests. ELM PARK P. T. A. The November meeting of the Elm Park P. T. A. was held at the school Thursday evening with Earl Engle, president of the organization, in charge. The meeting was opened with the singing of a few favorite salections by the group. Mr. Clemens favored us with a short piano recital. PARTY AT CANTEEN The girls of the Teen Canteen entertained their mothers and also the mothers of the boys who are members of the Canteen, with a covered dish supper at the Canteen last night. Following the supper, the mothers held a short meeting at which time it was decided to buy a refrigerator with the money in their treasury, for the Canteen. Miss Betty Ann Greenberg, chairman of the party, welcomed the guests and had charge of the entertainment which followed. Dance by the pupils of Mrs. Josephine Steele which included Barbara Bedwell, Judith Shepherd, Patsy Thurium, Sue Reid, and Phyllis Monroe. Reading Betty Ann Greenberg. "Dancej Phyllis Monroe. RETURNS FROM TRIP Mrs. Ada Loveall and dauehter.IJoris, returned Thursday, November 5th from an auto trip through Illinois, Missouri, Kentucky, Tennessee and Indiana. Many places were visited, rich in scenic and historic associations. They enjoyed , St. Louis, scenic Tennessee with its many shrines to those who died in the Civil War, Mammoth Cave in Kentucky and Hodgenville, where enshrined in a stately memorial, is the cabin in which Lincoln was born and Churchill Downs, near Louisville. In Cape Girardeau, Mo., the Lovealls were guests of the D. F. Weldons and Rosa Harrison, formerly of Dugger. LUNCHEON Mrs. Mary McCrocklin entertained with a luncheon on Friday evening at her home on Indiana Avenue in honor of Rosemary Sharp. Mrs. Sharp is resigning from the Social , Welfare Office.
