Bob Abell, who has just returned from Japan' after spending th: last six months in a"hospital with rheumatic fever, is home on a 30-day furlough with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Russell J. Abell, of Sullivan, R. 4. On his return he will be stationed at the Oliver Hospital in Georgia. Mr. and Mrs, Bert Affeldt and Mr. and Mrs. Reed Gustan of Markesan, Wisconsin, have returned to their home after spending Sunday, Monday and Tuesday visiting Frank ' Anderson. While here they visited Spring Mill Park, Bedford limestone quarries, the Baker Mine and the Robin Hood strip mine. Mr. Anderson spent most of the past summer visiting and fishing

with them in Wisconsin.

Response to roll call were comments on the meeting which has benefited me most this year. Lesson on safety was given by Mrs. Ida Hannah. Interesting demonstrations on the correct way to roast chicken was given by Lillie Ri,singer and the correct way to roast beef was given by Leola King. The reading of the club prayer closed the program. Mystery pal gifts were exchanged. The next meeting will be on December 16th.
