First Grade: The children had fun dramatizing The Gingerbread Man story Monday, then they made gingerbread men out of paper. We had a red letter day Mon day. Mary Belle Snider has been ill four days this week. We hope she will be back next week. ., Second Grade: Immediately upon entering the room Thursday morning boys and girls noticed the two new germicidal lamps. The . children and Miss McCoy want to thank the Lions Club for them. We will miss Carl Barrett who has moved from our ' school to Vincennes. Robert Padgett and Cecil Padgett entered our room Monday. They came from Hammond. We now have 20 boys and 16 girls. We-, wrote letters to William Jones wishing him a happy birthday. We hope he will be able to come to school soon: . . Third Grade: i We were sorry to lose JJottie Daves and Sandra Goad. Dottie moved to Hessville, Indiana and Sandra moved to Vincennes. We have had perfect - attendance all week.
