Mr. and Mrs. Lee Simmers and son, Bob, have returned from a short visit to St. Louis; Missouri, and Batesville, Arkansas. While in St. Louis they attended a basebaU game between the St. Louis Cardinals and the Chicago Cubs and also visited Forest Park Zoo. While in Batesville they attended the wedding of Mr. and Mrs. Sloan Wells. Mrs. Wells was before her marriage Miss , Mary Douthitt, granddaughter of J. Ed Douthitt of this city; Mrs. Mills Douthitt and children, Joe and Sue, returned home with them for a two weeks visit with Mrs. Edgar Collins and Mrs. Archie Booker. . Mr. and Mrs. Mort Ladson of Terre Haute, were guests Sunday of Mr. and Mrs. Terrence Ladson.
