Through this scholarship program many girls have been helped to attain their goal in education. The state scholarship committee met in Indianapolis this week and made several awards. Pledge to the flag in unison. History of the song was given by Donna Soughers. Club creed was given by Ethel Cox. Plans for the 4-H Cub Fair exhibit was discussed and further plans are to be reported by the club president. An interesting bit on Independence Day was given by Ethel Cox. The meeting closed with the club prayer. The next meeting will be with Opal Ruble and Mary Julian on August 12.

The double ring ceremony was performed in the chapel of the 20th Station Hospital in Manila, Philippine Islands, May 29th, in the presence of friends of the young couple. Mrs. Liming ; was graduated from the Purdue University School of Home Economics in dietetics. She also took additional training in Johns Hopkins Hosi pital and Bushnell General Hos pital in Bngham City, Utah. She entered the Army services as hospital dietitian and was sent overseas and stationed near Manila, P. I. Dr. Liming is a graduate of Dartmouth College and the Long Island College of Medicine in New York.
