Graysville To Play 18 Games Next Season The- Graysville Greyhounds will play eighteen games next season according to the schedule released today. Nine of the games will be played on the Greyhound home court, with nine being on the road. The game with Merom, on Dec. 19, will be played in the fcommunity Gym in Sullivan, while another with Pleasantville, on Jan. 14, will be played in Dugger. FRIDAY TROUBADOURS The Friday Troubadours f New Lebanon held their first' meeting April 22. The following officers vtere elected: President, Carol Hart; vice-president, Doro thy Unger; secretary-treasurer, Wilma Unger; news reporter, Wilma Hart; song leader, Carolyn Radar; recreation leader, Verlene Ridge; health officer, Margaret Nash. It was decided to have a covered dish dinner for the mothers and daughters of the 4-H MJay 2nd at 7:00 o'clock. Everyone is to bring a covered dish. The new members will be initiated.' It was decided to have the meetings every Friday and business meetings every, other Friday. WOMEN'S ASSOCIATION HOLDS MEETING ' The Women's Association of the Presbyterian church gave a most interesting program for the April meeting Friday afternoon, Mrs. Jeanette Werntf, newly installed president presided, opening the meeting with a number of selections by Phillip Brooks. Reports of the recent meeting in Vincennes were given by Mrs. Clyde Hux and Mrs. Branstetter. A very favorable report was received on the recent rummage sale, and announcement of the May breakfast was made. This will be in the church May 28th at which time the speaker will 4 Rabbi Mervis who has before spoken in the church. Mrs. Will Thompson gave the devotions preceding the speaker of the afternoon. Miss Pauline Timmons was introduced by Rev. Weisbecker, who had met her last summer while , attending recreational camp in Minnesota. Miss Timmons is Parish worker in south ern Indiana, sent out by theBoard of National Mission of the I Presbyterian Church. She has eight churches in her parish, ' where the need is great for j religious training. She lives in Laconia, forty miles from New Albany, and twenty-two miles , from Corydon in Harrison Coun ty, and drives many miles to-

reach her churches, and administer among the people who not only require spiritual but physical help as well. She is doing a great work there. Her experiences were related in a most interesting and enlightening manner, giving her audience first hand knowledge of a field in our own Indiana, not too well known. Her keen sense of humor, and pleasing manner delighted her audience and surely would aid her much in her work among these people. The association was fortunate indeed to have her on the program. , ' ; DUGGER BLUE TRI ENTERTAINS WITH TEA The Blue Triangle Club of Dugger High School entertained with their annual Mother-Daughter Tea on Sunday, April 20th, from three-thirty to four-thirty o'clock in the Home Economics Room at the high school gym. The tea table was covered with a beautiful lace tablecloth. There was a lovely centerpiece of lavender and white sweetpeas. The girls carried . out the color scheme of blue and white in the small individual tea cakes, which were topped by white icing decorated with a small blue flower. Presiding at the tea table was Ruth Ellen Hall, vice-president of the club this year. Beautiful sweet pea corsages were presented to each mother and senior girl. Those in attendance at this affair were: Mrs. Elmer Boone and . Jeanne Pendleton, song leader, led the group in songs, some old and some new. The secretary, Myrna Hughes, called the roll, and the club answered with their favorite school subject.
