TEACHERS' PAY BILL IMPORTANT

The Indiana General Assembly will soon be taking ac-1

lion on what easily may be a step toward a progressive future in education or vice versa. That bill is one which . will grant teachers a righteous increase in pay. This is not a new question it is one which was initiated the first time after World War I when drastically underpaid teachers had to seek other jobs to maintain a living. If our coming leaders' are to get the kind of education they need then, we must pay to give them the better type of teaching.
