ADDED BANS ON LIQUOR SALES URGED Bills which ! would drive several hundred Hoosier taverns, clubs and package j stores out of existence and stop the sale of beer at the Indiana State Fair were introduced in the General Assembly yesterday. j A Senate bill would ban the sale of alcoholic beverages within 500 feet of a church, school, parsonage, public library, school gym- ' nasium or school athletic field. The measure outlawing further sale of beer at the state fair went to the House.

Mr. and Mrs. Amos DeWitt of Bedford, spent the week-end with relatives in Lewis. Mrs- Herschel Morse was the guest of Mr. and Mrs. Bailey Bedwell of Bedford last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Goldy Morse attended the Hankins-Dietz wedding Sunday. Mf Dietz is a nephew of Mrs. Morge. Mr. and Mrs. Justice Boston were in' Terre Haute Saturday.
