Mrs. Buell Ford received a letter recently from Mrs. John Latham of Los Angeles, California, a former resident here, saying that they drove to Altadena on Christmas Eve to see the trees lit. There were pine trees about sixty or seventy feet high on each side of the road for a ,mile and a half.
