Sullivan, visited relatives here Monday evening. George Mitchell spent the week-end in Indianapolis. Mr. and Mrs. Maurice Nash of Robinson, Illinois, were Sunday guests of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Gard and son, John. Mr. and Mrs. Don McFarland were in Farmersburg Monday afternoon. Ruth and Barbara Thompson and Norma Jean Robinson spent Saturday evening in Terre Haute.

Mr. and Mrs. Paul Mitchell have returned to their home in Ashland, Ohio. Mrs. Marjorie Shroyer entertained her bridge club at her home here Tuesday evening. Members present were Rosemary Truelock, Pauline Harris, Kathryn Lee, Jessica Gard, Dale Weekley, Ruth Allison, Edna LaFollette and the hostess, , Marjorie Shroyer.

The Sullivan County Coonhunters Association will hold

their regular monthly meeting at

the City Hall Saturday, February 1st at 8:00 p. m., with a re

port on coons released and question of Spring Field. Trial date as special order of business. All members are requested - to be present.

George Ray Van Meter left for

a hospital in Michigan Saturday

after spending a two-months furlough with his family here. Mr. and Mrs. Fred Ridgway of Hammond, are visiitng with Mrs. Rjdgway's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Billy Cox. Mr. Cox is able to be up and around in the house.

bed after an operation May 12th at the Union Hospital.
