LIVESTOCK BSEEDERS TO MEET DEC. 30 LAFAYETTE, Ind., Dec. 26. Fifteen annual meetings of livestock breeders' associations will be held at Purdue University Monday, Dec. 30 as part of the Agricultural Conference which opens on that day and is continued Jan. 2 and 3. The annual banquet and business meeting of the Indiana Livestock Breeders' Association will conclude the first day's program. Members of Indiana beef breed associations will meet at the livestock judging pavilion at 10:00 a. m., when they will hear Paul Thompson, Terre Haute, discuss his pasture program. Mr. Thompson is one of Indiana's outstanding cattle raisers and uses pastures almost exclusively in his beef cattle program. Luncheon will be served in the pavilion. Annual meetings of the six beef breed associations will be held at 1:00 p. m. 1 Associations which will meet in the Memorial Union include Hereford, Polled Herefords, Shorthorns, Polled Shorthorns and Milking Shorthorns. The Aberdeen Angus Breeders' Association will meet in Agricultural Hall. The 35th annual meeting of Indiana Draft Horse and Mule Breeders' Association will be held at 10:00 a. m. at the Union when Prof. W. W. Smith, Purdue University animal husbandryman, will conduct a discussion on problems in horse feeding. Wayne Dinsmore, Chicago, secretary ol the Horse and Mule Association of America, will talk on pastures at the afternoon meeting. Presentations of the Percheron trophy
