But forgot will never oe And we hope someday to meet him Over by the crystal sea. Where there is joy and peace forever With the Savior ever more , No more sadness, no more sorrow And sad parting will be o'er. !. Here the circle oft is broken But when around God's throne we meet, May the family be united And the circle be complete. The Fief Fa"1'" Doctor's Discovery FOR FLUSHING KIDNEYS Backache, loss of pep, getting up nights, and headache are often caused by nothing . more than improper kidney action due to excess acid in the urine. Kidneys are one of Nature's ways of removing impurities from the blood. And when these impurities back up, trouble may start. So if you have these troubles, give your kidneys and bladder a good flushing out by taking Dr. Kilmer's Swamp-Root. It works on the kidneys to flush them out, increasing the flow of urine to help relieve that excess acidity and ease that burning when you pass water, helps that bladder irritation that gets you up nights. Made of 1 6 herbs, roots, vegetables, and balsams, Swamp-Root is absolutely nonhabit forming. Caution: take as directed. For free trial supply, send to Dept. Z, Kilmer & Co., Inc., Box 1255, Stamford, Conn. Or get full-sized bottle of SwampRoot today at your drugstore.

- "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. ALL things were made by him ; and without h''ni was not any thing made that was made." (John 1:1-3.) "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth." (Gen. 1:1) How? Thus: "God said, Let there be light: and there was light." "Let Hiere be ..." this and "Let there be ., . .." that, and it was so. Ged spoke the word, and the thing spoken of became a realiiy. To the worldly wise the Genesis account of creation Feeris foolish, but io the bel'ever "The heavens declare the glory cf God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork." (Psalm 19:1). How can we account for the earth, sun, moan and myriad celestial bodies,' each in its own orbit, being maintained and functioning with such amazing precis'on? To the believer this is the answer, ". ... upholding ALL things bv the WORD OF HIS POWER." (Hebrews 1:3). "And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full of grace and truth." (John 1:14) The Word incarnate! The glory and majesty and power of God in the flesh for the benefit of man! Thus by Christ "were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, (Col. 1:16) and by the same Lord "the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation" (Eph. 1:13) is presented unto j'ou. "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers bv the prophets, HATH IN THESE LAST DAYS SPOKEN UNTO US BY HIS SON." (Hebrews 1:1-2). Here his Son : "Neither pray I for these (his apostles) alone, but for them also WHICH SHALL BELIEVE ON ME THROUGH THEIR WORD; that they all may be one ..." (John 12:20-21).
Further, "If the word spoken by angels was stedfast and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward; HOW SHALL WE ESCAPE, IF WE NEGLECT SO GREAT SALVATION; WHICH AT THE FIRST BEGAN TO BE SPOKEN BY THE LORD, AND WAS CONFIRMED UNTO US BY THEM THAT HEARD HIM." (Hebrews -1:2-3). The Lord and his apostles have spoken concenrng the power of the Word in cur salvation. "Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every WORD that pvoceedeth out of the mouth of God." (Matt. 4:4) "So FAITH cometh by hearing, and hearing bv THE WORD OF GOD." (Rom. 10:17) ". . . in Christ Jesus I have BEGOTTEN you THROUGH THE GOSPEL." (1 Cor. 4:15). "Now ye are CLEAN THROUGH THE WORD which I have sooken unto you." (John 15:3) "SANCTIFY them through thy truth: THY WORD IS TRUTH." (John 17:17). "Moreover, brethren. I declare unto you the GOSPEL which I preached unto you, which also ve received and wherein ye stand; BY WHICH ALSO YE ARE SAVED, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you. unless ve have believed in vain." (I Cor. 15:1-2). Nevertheless, many bh'nd guides teach ycu can be saved separate and apart from the Word of God, and many blind followers accept such doctrine. What a tragedy! Jesus in his gospel demands that you believe in him (John 8:24), repent of your former life (Luke 13:3), confess him (Matt. 10:32-33 and Rom. 10:9-10), be baptized into him (Mark 16:16 and Gal. 3:27) and be faithful unto death in order to obtain the crown of life (Rev. 2:10). "He that rejecteth me, and rece'veth not my words, hath one that judgeth him: the word that I have spoken, the sime sh?ll judge him in the last day." (John 12:48).
