tAIBORNE HOME EC. CLUB The Claiborne Home Eoconoics club met Wednesday, Dember 4th at the home of Mrs. hn Followell for their Christas meeting with a covered dish nner. The president, Mrs. Ray Wyan, presided over the business ;eting which opened with the iging of Christmas carols. Each smber responded to roll call giving an interesting story of 1 old Christmas custom as it is observed in her own home.

The next meeting will be held Wednesday, January 1, at the home of Mrs. Tom Everhart. Our Red Cross sewing will be on December 12th at the home of Mrs. C. B. Downen. In the ten months of sewing we have finished 198 sets of baby garments. THANKSGIVING GUESTS Mr. and Mrs. Henry Marshall entertained with a turkey dinner Thanksgiving in honor of the birthday of Mr. Marshall. Those present were Mr. and Mrs. L. C. Douglas and daughter, Pat, of Franklin, Indiana, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Reynolds and children, Jackie, Sue and Larry, of Sullivan, James Marshal, Betty Robinson, Betty Romine and Mr. and Mrs. Gerald Romine of Hymera.
