"Roger Dodger," the term used throughout the war in the Air Corps to denote agreement, 'is now being used by the, Army Air Forces in a program to obtain the' names and addresses of two and a half million former members of the organization who built the greatest team in history and delivered the bombs to Berlin and Tokyo. This program is known as "Operations Roger." Colonel Henry A. Sebastian, Commanding Officer of the Reserve Training Detachment at Stout Field, stated: "The Civil Air Patrol, an auxiliary of the Army Air Forces, is distributing cards with the able assistance of the Boy Scouts, of America, for the purpose of getting an up-to-date mailing list to keep veterans abreast of current activities of the Army Air Forces." - When the Boy Scouts of America Headquarters in Indiana were contacted, Delmar H. Wilson, the Srout., Executive for the State of Indiana, stated: "The Boy Scouts are going to do everything possible and are ' cooperating to the fullest extent to make this program -' a success." Boy Scouts will enter business establishments throughout Indiana and distribute cards to be filled out by former Army Air Forces members. When contacted, Major Walter B. Smith, Executive Officer of the 52nd Wing, Civil Air Patrol in Indiana stated: "The Civil Air Patrol of Indiana, and the Boy Scouts ' are . working together toward the goal of getting every former Army Air Forces member's present address on the Army Air Forces mailing list.
