Alpha Delphian Club entertained the Dugger Study Club at the

Presbyterian Church with Mrs.

R. Riggs acting as hostess.

The program of the afternoon was one of the outstanding programs of the club year. Mrs. Elizabeth Springer, one of the guest artists of the afternoon, opened the program with a group of organ numbers and presided at the organ as the Delphian Sextet, composed of Mesdames Gus Lowry, F. G. Alig, M. H. Bedwell, Gilbert Snyder, A. S. Reed and Harry Gilmore,' sang the invocation. The club president, Mrs. Omar Nickel, greeted the Dugger club with words of welcome. Miss

Mary Reed, also a guest artist, beautifully rendered a group of three numbers, "Ave Maria," "Lady Moon" and "Sonny Boy." Mrs. J. R. Riggs, who gives so freely of her (talent to the club, gave a review of "Singing

Waters" by Ann Bridge, which i

proved both entertaining and enlightening and was well received by both guests and members. The program was concluded with two delightful numbers by the sextet, "Brown Bird" and "Memories." At the close of the program.
