Farmers Home
i Administration Takes Over FSA The Farm Security Administration was discontinued October 31st but in its place the Farmers Home' Administration has taken over the work formerly carried ' on by' the FSA. In addition to ad ministering the old FSA program, the Farmers Home Administration will also handle the Regional Agricultural Credit Corporation loans and the Emergency Crop and Feed ' Loan Program which has been a branch of the Farm Credit, Administration. Arthur B. Walker, Supervisor of Vigo and Sullivan Counties for the FSA and who is now' connected with the new agency, said that no changes in policies or personnel have yet been announced. He explained, however, that certain changes in the program and the complete services of the new agency will be outlined at a three-day meeting to be held November '6, 7, and 8th at Spring Mill State Park Inn. All Farmers Home Administration (former FSA and Emergency Crop and Feed Loan) supervisors in Indiana will attend the meeting. MEMORIAL FUND FOR NURSES TO BK RAISED of the money will be gladly given by parents, wives and relatives of servicemen who appreciate what the war nurses have meant to their boys.
