: , What Do You Say?" - , Now 'be honest, folk,, did liquor and beer ever do vihyono any good? Thp figures prove that it has certainly done much harm. One cannot deny this fact. What do you say? I found this bit of print. It has a great lesson. The police say: "Alcohol and gasoline cause accidents."" The murderer says: "I don't know what I did; I was drunk." . The judgs says: "Alcohol makes for crime, but doesn't excuse it." -

Hie psychologist says: "Alcohol robs a man of

reason."

. The doctor says: "Alcohol weakens resistance and

shortens life. . t 'The moralist says: "Alcohol and morals never keen company." The lady says : "The breath of alcohol is repulsive."

s The mother says: "Alcohol robs the home of its se-1

cunty and its peace. The children say: "When father is sober, we run to meet him; when he is drunk, we run from him." The wife says: "Alcohol brings about divorce."

The undertaker says: "Alcohol speeds up my busi

ness. - - , The liquor dealer says: "Give youth a sample, and you have a customer for life."

The wet voter says: "I voted for this." The dry -voting legislator says: "I'd rather oppose my constituency than my conscience." ... The pastor says: "Alcohol has robbed many a soul of its eternal life." The Bible says: "A drunkard shall not inherit the

Kingdom of Heaven." . No, we cannot be neutral about this situation. We are either for or against this evil. Will the blood be on our head for not fighting such enemies of life? People, please think seriously about this matter. What do you think? Did liquor or beer do anyone any good at any time! Did it ever do anyone any harm? I agree with you, that is a silly question and needs no answer!
