(Sp.)Homecoming on a truly ,.a-tini. cpqIo at Franklin Col lege is being planned for October 19 by a joint stucieni council and alumni committee. Festivities will open on Friday evening, October 18, with a gigantic bonfire and snake dance ending in a pep' session for the football team. Hanover will provide the opposition on Saturday afternoon in the traditional Victory bell contest. The bell was won by Hanover in 1943, the last year the two teams met. Homecoming queen will be elected next week by the campus men, and she will be crowned between halves of the ' football game. Power Strike Now Up To NLRB In Pittsburgh

BULLETIN! PITTSBURGH, Oct. 10. (UP) Pittsburgh's power strike was tossed into the lap of the National Labor Relations Board today. At a brief hearing it was decided to let the three-man board decide whether to order an election on the petition of the AFL United Mine Workers, District 50, which seeks to take over representation of the utility's 1,700 production workers from the striking Independent union. The Independent group which row holds jurisdiction over all the company's 3,500 employees j entered only a technical objection to an election. It claimed it had existing agreements with the utilities system and said they were a bar to NLRB action. Lockmart Jury To i Reveal Findings Friday, 1:00 A.M. MADISON, Ind., Oct. 10. (UP) The findings of . four farmers, a bricklayer arid a bank teller who conducted a grand ! jury investigation of the case of j Mrs. Lottie Lockman and the I strange sleep-deaths of three j elderly persons will be revealed tomorrow. A grand jury report on the mysterious poison death of a trio of elderly DuPont, Indiana residents was scheduled to be made at one a. m. tomorrow in the ancient Jefferson County Court House. Relatives and friends of the three victims testified during the three-day hearings which were concluded yesterday. All three died while under the care of Mrs. Lottie Lockman, a friendly 62-year-old housekeeper and practical nurse.

Chinese City Bombed Today By Nationalists BULLETIN! NANKING, China, Oct. 10. (UP) Communist authorities reported today that Kalgan, second city of Communist China, was bombed twice yesterday with "considerable" loss of life. Four planes bombed Kalgan and twelve dropped explosives on the city in a second attack, the Communists reported. The reported bombing was the first air attack on Kalgan since the Nationalists opened their current offensive against the strategic city. The airfield had been bombed previously. Industry Resigns
