BROWN RESIGNS

AS BICKNELL COACH EICKNELL, The resignation of Eugene Brown as coach of vhe football, basketball, and track teams at Bicknell high school, was announced yesterday. The resignation will be effective August 31, and he will serve through the coming summer as city park recreation director. School officials have not yet announced a successor. Coach Brown is just completing his first year as a coach. A former Bicknell player he was active an athletic teams at Indiana State Teachers College, and graduated from that school a year ego.

The increase is $18 -for the only Chevrolet model which had been priced earlier on the basis, of manufacturing costs prior to the wage increase of 18 cents hourly recently granted by GM. The one model given a ceiling previously was the Chevrolet Stylemaster four-door sedan. On other Ci:evrol"t models being priced for the first time, retail ceilings range from $51 to
