Frank Neff W. R. C. I Celebrates 55th Anniversary j On Wednesday, April 3, the Frank Neff Woman's Relief Corps No. 155 met in the Woodman Hall for an all-day meeting. The ball was decorated "throughout with spring flowers and ftogs. The small table, as well as the one long table, were each covered with lovely anniversary cloths, napkins, flowers and ,x . iartistK-aUy made by the resident, Pearl Carpenter. At the noon hour the large table i was filled with dslicipus food in d the large anniversary --cake b-aring the dates 1891 anJy946 was the center of attraction.' All :'.-r.'-d around the table, ineluding several out-of-town gu-ejts. Aunt Betty Hardesty was honored .guest, being the oi'Iy living charter member. A Inyelv tribute wa? piven . her at this time. Pearl Carpenter presented Aunt Batty another gold service bar making a total of fifty-five years a faithful and devoted member. Edith Miller with acpropriate words gave Aunt Betty a red rose corsage. The honored guest responded in lovely words with a plesirs that this corps carry on its continued good work in years to come. Aunt Betty then cut the first niece of cake. - The meeting opened by singing "America"; wrlcome address, Pearl Gibb:': response, Mrs. Cheeck of . Morton Corns. A very impressive memorial service was given in memory of Ella Hughes, member of Morton Corps -and a past department president.
