Hoosier Ton Litter Club members who represent the elite among Indiana hog producers, have established the fact that a litter of nine or more pigs of any breed can be made to weigh 2000 pounds or more at the age of six months. Some of the stockmen do even better by pushing litters of eight above the ton mark. On seven farms,
