If for any reason business men or those living in the residence areas have been missed by the workers or are not personally seen by the workers, such persons who are missed and who are not seen are urged to make liberal donations and to make them direct to the Red Cross office in the Courthouse, the second door at the right at the north entrance.

I SEE THAT. . It is hard to concentrate the attention of the eyes on an object for any length of time without fatiguing the eyes. This can be demonstrated easily. Make a dot upon a piece of paper and move the paper away from the eyes to a distance where the dot is barely visible. Concentrate upon the dot. Scon the dot will disappear and reappear. The flickering usually is rhythmic, with the period of fluctuation varying from three to 25 seconds in different individuals. Another common test to demonstrate visual fatigue Is to paste a piece of black paper on a white disc. When revolved a faint gray ring will be just noticeable. The ring will come and go several times a second. Don't let eye fatigue lead into more serious eye-strain and impairment because of neglect, in this day and age when modern optometry makes it possible for us to prescribe lenses that will suit your particular needs. Neglect can handicap you in all work-a-day or business pursuits and deprive you of countless pleasures that
?ood eyesight assures. Continued neglect can ruin your eyes verily, ruin your very life. It is so easy and convenient (0 have the eyes checked these days. It's an investment in success and happiness.
