YELLOW JACKETS SWARM OVER DUGGER TEAM Smashing the network from all angles in the second half last night the Jasonville Yellow Jackets swarmed all over the Dugger Bulldogs with a 56-25 basketball victory last night. The game played in. the Jasonville goal house was put on ice in the third period as the Jackets poured in 18 points to boost their half time scoring lead of 21 to 14. The barrage that spelled victory saw Sciefent and Humphreys setting the pace. Scoring for the Leaman squad was -fairly evenly divided. MARRIAGE LICENSES Charles Marcus Lash, . Club Meet The annual Chrismas party of the Sullivan Business and Professional Women's Past Presidents' Club was held on Friday evening, December 28th. The members, Hazel Alkire, Lydia Brown, Telia Haines, Mabel Nowlin, Faye Ringer, Mary Scott, Rose Self, Pauline Stephens and Marie Yaw enjoyed a delicious turkey dinner at the Davis Hotel Dining Room. The table was beautifully decorated with Christmas decorations. Following the dinner the members jvere entertained at the home of Telia Haines. Prizes for games were awarded to Rose Self and Lydia Brown. Exchange of Christmas gifts was held. In the business session, Pearl Harbaugh was elected president for ' the coming year, to succeed Rose Self, the retiring president, and' Mabel Nowlin was elected secretary, to succeed Pauline Stephens, retiring secretary. , The committee ' in charge of this' delightful party was Mary Scott and Telia Haines.
