Firemen, spurred by the screams of a frantic mother, burst into a blazing West Side Indianapolis home yesterday, but they were too late to save the lives of the woman's two babies. The mother, Mrs. Helen Smallwood, had just returned from a neighborhood grocery as fire trucks stooped in front of her house.
