Mr. Lynch oefned the boys $2 if they would carry it up. Stoner and Murphy fooled Mr. Lynch when they agreed to do so. And they did. A large crowd stood by and "guyed’’ the coal ..rieia while they were at their w ork but they stuck to it-and finally earned the $2. When they bad completed the work they wore covered with coal dust, but that didn't cut any ice with them.
