Read it and compare evidence from Greencastle people with testimony of strangers living so far away you cannot investigate the facts of the case. Many more citizens of Greencastle will endorse our claims. Logan Mize, living at 308 South Ohio Street, Greencastle, Ind., says: “I can confirm today the statement I gave you in 1901 in which I recommended Doan’s Kidney Pills. I had used this effective remedy for Iddney complaint and a kidney weakness from which I had suffered for quite a time. There were pains and aching through my back which sometimes extended up to my shoulders. ! The kideny secretions were highly colored, acted irregularly and on standing a sediment was noticeable. I had seen Doan’s Kidney Pills recommended through the newspapers and had heard my friends speak well of them so I got a box at Jones’ drug store and took them. I improved in health until I was thoroughly cured. Since that time I have had no trouble with my kidneys. Eleven Angora goats from the flock of Dr. G. W. Bence were crated at the goaA farm, south of towi* brought to town and Friday started on a long journey to Buenos Ayres, Argentine Republic, by American express. The goats were bought from Dr. Bence by Walter Miller a stock exporter who lives in Peru, Ind. The animals were shipped from here to Peru. There they will be loaded Into a car with other stock to be exported, shipped to New York and there loaded upon a ship for Buenos Ayres. There were four bucks and seYen does in the shipment sent from hjre. Mr. Miller has bought several lots of goats from Dr. Bence. They were exported. Hog Cholera. The greatest drawback to the hog industry which breeders in this country have to contend with Is what is known as “hog cholera’’ and “swine plague.” Hog Cholera is a highly contagious disease and unless checked is liable to carry off a great number of hogs in a very short time. Mr. A. P. Williams, of Burnette Creek, Ind., tells of an experience which he had with some hogs that had the cholera. “Five years ago,” says Mr. Williams, “I was in the employ of Mr. J. D. Richardson, Lafayette, Ind., as his barn foreman. Some fine hogs that I was feeding took the cholera. I gave them Sloan’s Liniment and did not lose a bog. Some were so bad they would not drink sweet milk and I was compelled to drench them. I have tried it at every opportunity since and always find it O.
