'i\ Others Escaped lint Tin* Olticcrs Have Their Names.—Doings in Police Court Officers Stone and Reeves raided a poker game, in a box car, on the Vandalia tracks, back of tiie Harris mill, at 10 o'clock Sunday morning. Three of the players, Clarence Lonsberry, John Hughes and Jack Parish were arrested. Several other players escaped out of the opposite door * from which Hie officers entered. The names of these players are In the bands of the officers and warrants for their arrest have been Issued. They are; Albert Fry. Charles Black. Sam Cunningham. Jess Tobin, Fred Lonsberry and William Payton. The three arrested were before Mayor Hays this morning and on a plea of guilty were fined JTi.OO and 'os's amounting to $10.0(1. The fine of each was stayed and the men given their liberty. Several men charged with intoxteation were -before the Mayor, also, and each received the customary $1 fine and costs of $10.

Death of .lames Walton. Mr. James Walton died at his late home In Marion township, on Sunday, October 2S. of paralysis, aged 64 years. Mr. Walton leaves surviving n wife, one son and three daughters.
