Assertions: that tho winter wheat acreage of 1922 would show a reduction of 10 per cent compared with last year, had much to do with bringing about mora active dealing's and decidedly higher prices In tho wheat market today. Closln quotation! were unsettled at net pain of m to 2 cents with December 116 and May 114. Corn finished 1 9 11 to 2 cents up; oats at to cent advance and provisions varying1 from 5 cents decline to a rise of 2 cents.
