No Charge Yet Filed Against Pair Hehl on Suspicion in Plait Holdup. Xo specific charge has been placed against the two local men arrested Saturday night on suspicion of know ing something about the holdup and robbery Friday night of Mr. and Mi.. (Jeorge A. Piatt at their residence garage, 9 7 S Riverside drive. Th men thus far have given a good alibi -stating that they were in bed at the time the holdup occurred.. but they will bo questioned further today by Chief Lane and Capt. Hamilton. Other clues have been followed by the police but nothing definite ia expected to develop for a few day.". Circumstances of the holdup, explained to Chief Lano and Capt. Hamilton by Mr. and Mrs. Piatt, have held off the filing of specific charges against the two men now under arrest until they are again confronted by tho holdup victims. The men although partially Identified by Mr.. Piatt, continue to stick to their claim that they were at home when the holdup took place and these claims have been corro--borated at their rooming houses.

The other speakers mentioned will appear at sessions Thur.-day afternoon and evening and on Friday. Chief of Police Hauranre Fano will deliver a dLscussion on law enforcement at a meeting on the. closing day. In addition to the program of .speeches an excellent musical program has been planned for each meeting.
