The South Bend News-Times wishes to announce a New Policy which has the greatest coverage of any newspaper insurance policy on the market at the price. This policy will protect the pedestrian and bycicle rider as well as the traveler. It is written by The National Casualty Co. who wrote our other successful policies. Below is a Synopsis of Our New 60c Policy

PART ONE !f the Insured shall, during the term of One Year from the beginning of the insurance covering such Insured, as provided herein, by the wrecking or disablement of any Railroad Passenger Car or Passenger Steamship or Steamboat, in or on which such Insured is traveling as a fare-paying passenger, or by the wrecking or disablement of any Publir Omnibus, Street Railway Car, Taxicab. or Automobile Stage, which is being driven or operated, at the time of such wrecking or disablement, by a licensed driver plying for public hire, and in which such Insured is traveling as a fare-paying passenger, or by the wrecking or disablement of any private horse-drawn vehicle, or motor-driven car, in which Insured is riding or driving, or by being accidentally thrown from such a vehicle or car, suffer any of the specific losses set forth below in this Part i, THE COMPANY WILL PAY the turn set opposite such loss:

Each consecutive full year's renewal of this policy, in advance, shall add ten percent to the amount payable for the first year in column ( I ) for losses

enumerated above, but such addition shall never exceed fifty percent, of such original amount as shown in solumn (3). PART TWO OR FOR LOSS OF LIFE. Two Hundred Fifty Dollars ($250.00) provided the bodily injury effected as stated herein shall be the sole cause of death of the Insured and such injury occurs: By being struck or knocked down or run over while walking or standing on a public highway, by a vehicle propelled by steam, cable, electricity, napl tha, gasoline, horse, compressed air or liquid power, excluding injuries sustained while working in the public highway or while on a railroad right of way; or If the insured shall be run down by a motor driven or horse drawn vehicle while walking or standing on a public highway excluding injuries sustained while working in the public highway or while on a railroad right of way; while riding a bicycle, and sustains any of the losses mentioned in Part I, the Company will pay one-fourth the indemnity specified in Part 1 for such loss, except loss for which indemnity is payable under the preceding paragraph of this Part II. PART THREE. If the insured shall during the term of One Year from the beginning of the insurance covering such Insured, as provided herein, by the means and under the conditions recited in Part 1, be immediately and wholly disabled and prevented by injuries so received, from performing any and every duty pertaining to his or her usual business or occupation, THE COMPANY WILL PAY for a period not exceeding three (3) consecutive months, ACCIDENT INDEMNITY AT THE RATE OF TEN DOLLARS ($10.00) PER WEEK, or if the Insured shall be injured while walking or standing on a public highway by being run down by any motor driven or horse drawn vehicle (excluding injuries sustained while working in the public highway or while on a rasiroad right of way) ; or by being run down by any motor driven or horse drawn

vehicle while riding a bicycle, and as a result shall be disabled as provided fn the preceding paragraph of this Part III. THE COMPANY WILL PAY SEVEN DOLLARS AND FIFTY CENTS ($7.50) PER WEEK during such period of necessary disability but not to exceed seven (7) weeks.
