Every now and then, some one thing, greater than all others, attracts our attention. A book is written. The author becomes famous over night; Or the curtain rises on a new play and people everywhere accept and applaud it as the greatest of plays. Sometimes it is a new motor car or a famous engineering achievement such as the Panama Canal or the Roosevelt Dam. 0 Some artist until then unheard of, takes his brush in hand, and the world is given a wonderful painting. There are so many master minds at work, trying to create some particular thing that will merit the approval of the pubic, that it is a wonder there are not more great achievements and yet, especially in Industry, we find so many things that are commonplace. The motorist will remember that not more than two or three years back, the character of Gasoline and Oil Filling Stations was very poor indeed. Of wood, or cement construction, with cinder driveways, with cans and oil barrels strewn here and there, its appearance was anything but pleasing. With the advent of the CONSUMERS SERVICE COMPANY in South Bend, and vicinity, all this was changed. "THE FILLING STATION BEAUTIFUL" became a reality, an achievement, and now with the important announcement, that we will open our South Bend Station No. 7, located at the corner of JEFFERSON AND ST. JOSEPH STREETS, on

we feel that we, too, have joined the ranks of those who by constantly striving to create that which will please, arc able to build something so good that it will merit the approval of all. Our South Bend Station has heen made possible only because of the intelligent motorists that have from the beginning, traded with us. The large volume of business -which this Company has enjoyed since its first station was opened, Saturday, September 18th, 1920, has justified us hi giving to South Bend one of the finest and most complete Filling Stations in this country, and it is especially gratifying to know that we have been able to prove that quality in gasoline and especially in our "CONSERVCO" MOTOR OILS, has been the chief reason for our growth. The puMie is iiivilcl to our opening, and assured of the essentials at our new station, which as a whole, make this Company 'AN INSTITUTION OF QUALITY AND SERVICE."
