It Is bc.t to looeen the bolt. before J-acking up the wheel, a the weight of the car twists the nm slightly and so frees It from any nxst which may tend to hold It to the wheel. The wheel must then ba jacked up in order to remove the. rim. Put a little graphite grease on place, where wheel rim and demountable rim touch each other.

Sometimes compression cocks have a tendency to stick, making It hard to open them. Put a drop of oil In them occasionally, while engine hi not running, and work It round to each part. Tou can take better care of your car If the comprenslon oocks are ensy to operate.
If the engine Is equipped with compTetmlon relief valves It Is ta simple matter to open each one at a time and to look for flame. The one which does not show a flame Is missing. He sure that the engine has enough throttle to make the flame shoot out.

The Special-Six chasi frame is 7 "deep. It taper irom a width of 29' in the front to 41 in the rear, fro that the sides of tha body fit perfectly without overhang. Five crossmembers prevent the distortion that eventually causes bodies to squeak
Studebaker bodies rest squarely on the chassis frame not on the body sills. The body and the frame form a rigid unit that successfully resists the rack of the road. Studebaker bodies are built in Studebaker shops by men, many of whom have been building vehicle bodies for Studebaker for upwards of 30 years and their fathers before them. Studebaker has. been building fine bodies for seventy years. Studebaker Special-Six bodies, because of their quality and soundness, weigh more than those of other cars around the Special-Six price. You cannot skimp in material and build a body that will not rattle. Freedom from rattle or squeak is just another of the fine-car refinements that emphasize the extra value of the Studebaker Special-Six. MODELS AND PRICES-, o. b. factories
