"The hurch I attended as a boy also used the Dutch lanqruape and the sermons sometimes lasted two hours or more. I well remember how tired and restless I would get as the time d rasped on, for the sermon, while appealing to adults, was not such as would appeal to the child. "It was this experience which pave birth to the junior church idea, and last January I. started the organization. The results have been pratifyinp. The children have their own board of elders, board of deacons and board of trusters and name their own UFhers. They also have their own choir. I am the only adult present at the services. The services' last only HO minutes, which' I believe is sutlicient. for it keeps the children interested every minute. The hymns and text of the sermons are such that will appeal to the child mind." Dr. Sichterman said he had started the children into entracrinp in three minute talks and hopes eventually to have some of them take turns at preaching.

TECHNICALITY MAY DELAY DODGE TRIAL KALAMAZOO. Mich. April 12. Whether John Duval Dodge and IUx Earl will be tried naxt Monday on a charge of po? f ssinp. transportinp. and distributing intoxicating liquors will depend on the attitude of the officers toward a legal technicality which may compel the prosecutor to begin the case all over again in municipal court. During argument Monday, on a motion to dismiss the charge against the Detroit milionairc and the Kalamazoo architect, it developed that although the examination In lower court showed the arrest of the two men. it did not give the ause of the arrest in either case. Prosecutor Stephen II. Wattles announced Tuesday fie would decide in a day or two whether he would ask dismissal of the present charge and eibtain new warrants as the first step in beginning the case all over again.
