The entire .sales organization of the Burllr.sarr.e Co., consisting of 20 men and their families, reached this city during the week via automobiles and will take up a residence here until the property is sold. A suite of rooms has been engaged in the Blackstone theater bid?, tor the sle orhce. Alleged Liquor Violator Again Victim of Raid Saturday Find "'Moonshine.' F..r the srcor.il tir.ie within th last two months, Thomas Ward. 512 E. The police were only abl? to secure about one quart of "moonshine" on their viii j eaterday. Ward was released or. bonds and will he giver, a hcarir in city court Monday morning. In the previous raid on the Ward soft drink establishment, the police olhcers wrecked the bar located in the building after they had procured evidence of a liquor sale in achar.ee of their raid. Since that time, the police say, Ward has continued his practice of telling liquor over an improvised bar made of a few planks and a couple of beer kegs. Ward, the of.icers say, has been one of the greatest enemies of the Volstead act in South Bend and despite his frequent arrests and jtil sentences he is alleged to have continued his business of dispensing illegal liquor.

Round Tahle Meeting for Boy Scout Heads to Be Held Next Thursday. In the Bound Table for Scout masters, committeemen and assistants will be held next Thursday evening, April 115, at the Chamber id Commerce, F. A. Bryan, president ot thu South Bend council In charge. The. continuation of the Scout wcrlc and the plans for the Scout outings of the coming summer will be disscussed. A test hike will be held next Saturday at the test grounds on N. Mich st. Scouts wishing to qualify for promotion at the Court of Honor which wil be held in the near future will be given an opportunity to pass the requirements. Practices for the St. Joseph Valley jamboree, which will be held at Potawatoml Park Saturday and Sunday, May 27 and US, are now beitig hell by the various troops of the city. The scaling wall has been erected at Leeper park and is in constant use by the Scouts who wish to make their troop teams for the jamboree. An effort is being made to organic 3 a swimming and life saving class for scoutmasters under the direction of G. A. Cooper, physical director ol thi V. M. C A.
