To the local Boy Scouts council, to contribute to the grand work of building South Bend and Mishawaka's boys. Here's a real live plan by which we can all assist a worthy cause. Every time $ 1 0 is spent in our store on Tuesday, one dollar of the amount goes to the Boy Scouts work. Boy Scout day at Vernon's has been heartily sanctioned by local Boy Scout officials. We hope that we will have to pay the Boy Scouts a thousand dollars. You can all help. Come early Tuesday and spend your money enthusiastically. You can provide yourself with new Spring clothes, buying them for less money at Vernon's because of our well known policy of reducing retail prices and depending uponincreasing volume of business for our profit and at the same time you can be doing your part toward supporting the great Boy Scout movement, so successfully launched here by the late Jo Taylor.
