There is a picture character for "man" and another for "field." Both put together mean "farmer." Combine the character which means "word" with "man" and we have a man and his word, or "honesty." The symbols for "woman" and "son" together mean "good." Two of the symbols for "woman," together, mean "quarrel." Three of them together stand for "gossip."
