Street Lighting Equipment Falls in Price, He Says WARSAW, Ind., Oct. 6. Street lighting equipment i3 tumbling In price, according to figures presented to Warsaw city council by II. II. Ashllnger and V. A. Service, representing the Westinghouse company, and W. II. Webb, of the South Rend Electric Co.. who appeared before a special meeting of the city officials to submit estimates on the cost of installing an ornamental lighting system in the business district of this city. An estimate of $12.623 for large posts and $11,190 for small posts was submitted to the city council Just one week ago. Within a week the prices dropped to $12,285 for large posts and $10,704 for small posts, according to statements.

Would Acquire More Land for Warsaw Park WARSAW, Ind., Oct. 6. Extension of the city park on the south bank of Center lake, is proposed by the purchase of properties belonging to Mrs. C. W. Thomas and IMward Heacock and tho paving of Indiana street, through to the lake. The matter has bceni presented to members of the city council in an informal way. but promises to be taken up and considered at a regular meeting of the body shortly.
