RAPS for summer art distinguished particularly by their nlmincss.
Chidons, voiles, plain and printed georgettes are much favored for these creations, which are often elaborated with rich brocades, fringe or fur edgings. The model pictured t the left la developed on ft foundation of sold chifTon. It is veiled with black chiffon whose soft folds are shirred into a deep band of black and gold brocade. A similar band la used for tha upstanding collar, but this may be turned down, revealing the gold lining, if desired. The sleeves are cut with tha raglan top, but unlike the regulation model they are slashed apart at tho wrist and fall in long, pointed ends. This wrap is fastened invisibly down the front Another charming wrap reveals the union of black French voile and white chiffon. The former is used for the veiling and an interesting effect is attained. Folds of the chiffon veiled by the voilo are used for the puffed collar which, when it reaches the front, develops into a long scarf that may be disposed in any manner its owner may elect.
