Of course, there are other and newer varieties pcattered over the country, though none could possibly be finer. Cherry Pie. Wash, then fton enough lars ripe cherrle to mi a pie plate heaplnp: full. Put thj fruit Into a bowl and add two cupfuls of usrr. Stir the fruit often. Make a pood pie crust. "When ready to fill the p'.e. strain off the fruit Juice. Kill th-s pic. add a tee.n-oonful of cornetaroh to half eupful of sui?ar and fprinkle over the trp. Add a few lumps of butter, put on the top rrut. neal the edfres well, and put a little paper cone In one of the vents to carry off the ateim and keer the pie Juice from runn!nK out.
