The two stores, whera this week's prizes are to be given out, are known only to the storekeepers and the Mary C. Apts. Duncan, The P.ushton FRUIT SALAD. Put into bowl cut into dice two oranges, 2 apples, 2 bananas, H can of pineapple, a few cherries and marshmallows. Make dressing rith 3 eggs. U cup butter, U cup sugar, 1 teaspoon salt, 1 tablespoon cornstarch. 1 cup milk and 1 cup lemon Juice. Mix butter, sugar, fait, corn starch, add beaten eggs and milk and cook until like custard. Slowly add lemon Juice, when cold stir in ä pint of whipped cream and pour over the fruit, placing serving on nice lettuce leaf shaped like a shell. Mrs. Martha Merguson, S10 E. Grove st., Mishawaka. CREAM IOTATO SALAD. Six potatoes, four small onions, hearts of two stalks of celery, one sprig of parsley. Put these through food chopper. Take 2 eggs, one tablespoon butter, one teaspoon sugar, H teaspoon of salt, four tablespoons of vinegar, put on plow fire, Ftir till it thickens. Then mix with potatoes, set aside for a few hours. When ready to use mix a half cup of sweet cream. Serve on lettuce leaves.

The contest grows increasingly popular each week. Scores of local choppers are now taking part In the stur.t every .Saturday mornint la the hope of winning one or both of the prizes.
