This new teeth-cleaning method

Brash teeth for ten days in this new way. We supply the test. See and feci the good effects. Compare them with the old ways. It will be a pleasant test. And it may bring to you, as it has to millions, a new conception of clean teeth. Whiter teeth One great object is to fight the film that viscous film you feeL It clings to teeth, gets between the teeth and stays. Old brushing methods do not effectively combat it. Much 13 left intact, forming a dingy coat. And most tooth troubles arc now traced to it Film is what discolors, not the teeth. It forms the basis of tartar. It holds food substance which ferments and forms acid. It holds the acid ia contact with the teeth to cause decay. Germs breed by millions in it. They, with tartar, are the chief cause of pyorrhea. Fight it daily. Dental science has found two methods to effectively fight film. Many careful tests have proved them. Leading dentists everywhere now advise their daily use.

Both are combined in a tooth paste called Pepsodent a scientific product. And to millions of people it is brirging whiter, cleaner, safer teeth. Acts like fruit acids Pepsodcnt also brings three other effects, such as fruit acids would bring. It brings them, regularly and at proper times. It multiplies the salivary flow Nature's great tooth-protecting agent. It multiplies the starch digestant in the saliva, to digest starch depcsiti that cling. It multiplies the alkalinity of the saliva, to neutralize mouth acids which cause tooth decay. Modern diet, rich in starch, makes these things essential. Quickly seen The effects are quick and apparent. No one can doubt the benefits when they are explained. Send the coupon for a 10-Day Tube. Note how clean the teeth feel after using. Mark the absence of the viscous film. See how teeth whiten as the film-coats disappear. Feel and see these good effects, then judge if yon always want them. They are vastly important Cut out the coupon now.

Here are the facts concerning Mr. Seebirt's serious charges against Mr. Ridenour as reported in the newspapers of April 22. Mr. Seebirt charges that Mr. Ridenour is the tool of the present city administration "to fool the good women of South Bend and thus attempt to split their vote that the present administration might put itself over." Mr. Seebirt knows and must admit that Mr. Ridenour volunteered to stay out of the race if he, Mr. Seebirt, decided to run. He knows that at the end of seven days he personally told Mr. Ridenour to wait no longer but to announce his candidacy. He knows therefore, better than anyone else, that Mr. Ridenour-is out to beat the present

administration and give the city a clean government. Yet he make

this charge. According to the same reports Mr. Seebirt charges that Mr. Ridenour has spent "sums of money equivalent to two or three years' salary from that office (of mayor) in billboard advertising and by repeatedly using full pages in newspapers." Mr. Seebirt knows that prior to yesterday Mr. Ridenour did not once use a full page or even a half page in newspapers. In fact he knows that Mr. Ridenour's advertising expense has not equalled that of his own.

s

Knowing these facts you must realize as do the Seebirt workers themselves, that Mr. Ridenour's candidacy was not designed by Mr. Ridenour, or any one else, to split a vote. And knowing of the hundreds of pledged votes that have poured into Ridenour Headquarters from citizens who demand a clean and businesslike administration, you must realize that by casting your vote for Mr. Ridenour you will make it count. Mr. Ridenour's strength is his own. He has not attempted to wean votes from another candidate by lodging groundless charges against him. Neither has he referred to his opponents as he himself has been referred to the apron maker" in an effort to drive his opponents support to his side. He already has a great force of voters behind him and he merely asks

you, if you want the far better administration outlined in his platform, to join that force. For if nominated he stands a much greater chance of being elected than his opponents who are antagonizing their own party. As a successful manufacturer Mr. Ridenour is ably equipped to conduct the affairs of the city along efficient and businessline lines. He pledges himself to this and to remove the political management with which the city has been handicapped. He further pledges himself to a morally clean city; and he'is heartily in favor of giving the people of South Bend every opportunity to determine the kind of government under which they wish to live. It is to your best interests to
