Hill has an interesting history. He was one of the steadiest and mot reliable of the big mob of fighting men that Jack Kennedy and his helpers kept on tan at Great Iikes naval training station. Pill showed the highest class right at

the start and wound up by winning three titles at the station, something no other man ever was able to do. He went from the feathers to the welters and cleaned all of them. Out of a trifle over 150 contests Henry was beaten but ence 'in the ring at the huge training station. Willie Oreen, the Philadelphia slat, accomplished the trick in the light weight class but Pill turned about and got the decision tho very next time they came together. These engagements were accounted the very best out of the thousands of bouts that were decided there during the

period of the war.

Henry and Hoot are to meet at I

12S pounds in the South Pend match and Henry can make the fi

gure without the least trouble. Hoot i is an overgrown featherweight and around Cleveland is accounted one ( of the best boys that ever came out;

of that city, and they have sent

some pretty good men to the arena. Kogardctl Highly. The former gob is highly regard

ed around South Chicago and Jack

O'Keefe is willing to wager a little!

Fomething that he and hi. other star;

lightweight, Jimmy Brady, are the absolute class of the junior division. Tom Wallace, Paddy Clancy's new manager, is all steamed up over the good showing that the south side Irishman is making in his recent training stunts in the gymnasium.

He has had a number of good offers for Paddy's services and within a
